Situated near the equator at the base of Mt Kenya, Africa’s second tallest mountain, Lewa Wilderness Lodge is one of Kenya’s oldest and most private safari destinations.
The lodge has just nine exclusive rooms: five cottages tucked into the hillside overlooking Lewa’s Eastern Marania Valley, plus three family cottages set beautifully in the midst of green lawns and a flourishing garden. Each room is unique and luxuriously comfortable with it’s own rustic character of a ranch homestead, while the relaxed atmosphere makes guests feel like they are visiting an old, family friend. Lewa Wilderness Lodge creates deliciously home‐grown and authentically home styled food, using ingredients plucked from the garden and served with the finesse your would expect from a luxury Kenyan safari lodge.
