Mboko Camp sits within Odzala National Park, which covers an incredible 13,600 km and represents an essential part of both the greater Congo Basin system and the groundbreaking TRIDOM Transfrontier Park (which combines bordering national parks in Gabon, Cameroon and DRC Congo). Built along the banks of a free-flowing tributary of the Lekoli River with views over wildlife–rich savannah plains and deep forest, it offers a unique and immersive safari experience at the interface of multiple untouched ecosystems.

Guests are accommodated in just twelve simple but comfortable canvas cabins which enjoy rustic décor, four poster beds, en suite bathrooms and private decks. Built just above the river, the position of the rooms enables you to drift off to the sound of flowing water. The spacious main area has a dining room, lounge, bar and star deck all overlooking the wide-open grasslands.

Activities focus on the pristine wilderness around you and involve a combination of walking, boating, kayaking, cycling and 4×4 driving. In the company of expert guides you might see forest buffalo, forest elephant, spotted hyena, bongo, red river hog and western sitatunga in addition to countless primate species including, occasionally, chimpanzees. Birds, flowers and butterflies (seasonal) can be seen in profusion and the stargazing is spectacular.

Few have trodden the wilderness areas surrounding Mboko Camp and this presents an exciting opportunity to be among the first to discover their astonishing biodiversity whilst enjoying the comfort of a top notch lodge.
