The lodge offers a range of comfortable, en‐suite cottages tucked deep in the forest for maximum privacy and a natural ‘living in nature’ feel. Lined along a contour, constructed of local brick and grass thatched the nine en‐suite Luxury Cottages have an authentic African feel and capture the easy warmth of the sun rays through the canopy through full length sliding glass frontages. Each offers an oversized bed, sitting area and an adjoining large veranda with excellent views to the forest. The main lodge continues the atmosphere... of relaxed comfort with a spacious dining terrace, secluded lounge area, small library and an evening camp fire around which easy conversation always flows. Anyone looking for an adventure may wish to walk ten minutes from the main lodge and spend the night in the Sky Tree House. Elephants gather in this spot and with your tree‐house vantage, it is a remarkable and unforgettable experience.
The opportunity to track chimps during your stay is a true privilege and a real highlight of any visit to this region. In addition you can enjoy forest nature walks to explore the slopes of the Rwenzori mountains, spot the prolific birdlife, visit the Bigodi village and discover the magnificent crater lakes.
