The Sanctuary Sun Boat III is an exquisitely luxurious river yacht that has been voted ‘one of the top 100 most beautiful boats in the world’ by Condé Nast readers several times over. As the first boat in over 15 years to cruise from Cairo to Aswan, itineraries aboard this beautiful vessel have opened up new sites to visitors including Beni Hassan rock tombs.
A choice of three, four or seven night cruises are available, all led by specialist Egyptologists. The boat accommodates up to 36 guests in 18 suites and cabins. The 14 luxury cabins are all beautifully appointed with old fashioned four poster beds dressed in Egyptian linens, traditional shutters and warm, champagne tones that evoke the glamour of the 1930s. Meanwhile the Presidential and Royal suites offer vast proportions, opulent comfort and an elegance that is unmatched on the Nile.
Shared spaces on board include the desert-inspired Sahara Lounge, the H. Carter bar decorated with dark wood bar and hieroglyphics and a sophisticated dining room, as well as plenty of quiet spaces and reading nooks. The sun deck, complete with oasis pool, draped sun beds and bar, is the perfect spot to take a cooling dip and watch the scenery sail past.
