At Subeti Tented Camp in the Maswa Reserve, Tanzania, the camp is all about exclusivity with only six tents, and location within in a private concession. Classic canvas tents feature polished timber floors and minimalist furnishings to reflect the natural surroundings – private havens of peace and serenity. In between game drives and activities guests can sit out on the viewing deck featured outside each tent and admire the bush, perhaps do some bird-watching, read a book, or take a snooze.
Wildlife is excellent year-round with plenty of plains game, the opportunity to see all the big cats, buffalo, elephant and more. Guests can take in as much game viewing as they wish with a private guide and vehicle allocated to each party – the flexibility, length of game drives and focus on spotting certain types of wildlife all yours.
Bush dinners are an option, all day or evening game drives and with the location so close, you can visit the world-famous Ngorongoro Conservation area if you wish. Between January and April, you may also have the chance to encounter the great wildebeest migration.
