People have walked these lands for over 50,000 years, the rocks are some of the oldest on the planet and the jungles are some of the most intact. There are vast areas which humans haven’t trodden for centuries and the mind boggles at the treasures that could still lurk within, as yet undiscovered.

Despite all this isolation and intrigue, the South Pacific region offers remarkably straight forward and stress-free travel. There aren’t many continents on Earth that allow you to experience scorching desert nothingness, tropical paradise islands and world class ski resorts without having to pack your foreign language phrase book!
