An evening of polar waters explorations

The Classic Safari Company’s resident zoologist Julia Salnicki, and Richard Cunningham of One Ocean Expeditions will host an evening of Arctic exploration through polar waters at our office here in Woollahra. They’ll navigate us through this incredible polar landscape, share tales of their past expeditions and tell us more about their upcoming trip this year – ‘An Arctic Adventure’

‘An Arctic Adventure’ is an intrepid voyage through the bays and islands of Spitsbergen, Svalbard and the largely uncharted, remote Norwegian Arctic. Aboard a specialist-built ship, the group will enjoy birdwatching, hiking, photography and exploring by zodiac as well as on-board lectures from Arctic experts.

The Arctic is an ethereal, otherworldly wilderness of rarity, diversity, beauty and snow-hushed silence. Imagine cruising polar waters past almighty icebergs and towering glaciers, amidst beluga whales, walrus, seals and sea birds and spotting the elusive and majestic polar bear.
