One of the most majestic cities in the world, Cape Town sits in a stunning position below and between Table Mountain and the South Atlantic Ocean.

Cape Town is a foodie’s paradise, offering incredible cuisine. Then there are its museums and galleries, spectacular architecture, and history too. Highlights include The Waterfront, Table Mountain, Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, the impressive Zeitz Museum, Kirstenbosch Gardens and Boulders Beach to see the penguins.

Then, a short drive away is the Cape Winelands Region and the beautiful village of Franschhoek. The valley is full of vineyards, cafes and restaurants surrounded by jaw-dropping mountain scenery. 7 UNFORGETTABLE DAYS

DAY 1 - 4 | CAPE TOWN | 4 NIGHTS

Welcome to Cape Town. Clear C&I before transfer and check in to the iconic Mount Nelson Hotel for a 4-night stay. The possibilities are almost endless here; Cape Town is a foodie’s paradise, offering incredible cuisine, with many restaurants in the top 10 in the continent. There are museums and galleries, spectacular architecture, breathtaking scenery, and plenty of history too.

You have the option of private or scheduled escorted tours, or to self-drive and explore at your own pace and in your own style. Key highlights include Table Mountain by Cable Car, a visit to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, the impressive Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, Kirstenbosch Gardens, Boulders Beach to see the penguins, to name just a few. Then there is a full day trip to the Cape of Good Hope, on the Cape Peninsular – the most southwestern tip of the continent. This spectacular drive via quaint fishing villages, spectacular beaches, and stunning mountain scenery must also include a drive through Chapman’s Peak and around Hout Bay. Combine all of this with sensational cafes, restaurants and bars and your four days here will fly. DAY 5 - 6 | FRANSCHHOEK | 2 NIGHTS

Just over an hour from Cape Town you will find the Cape Winelands Region and the idyllic village of Franschhoek, famed for its beautiful Cape Dutch architecture. Here, you will spend 2 nights at Leeu House, in the middle of the village with easy walking access to many sensational restaurants. The entire region and valley is full of vineyards, cafes and restaurants surrounded by jaw-dropping mountain scenery. Rich in history, you can tour the area and visit wine farms such as Delaire Graff, Babylonstoren or Boschendal.

DAY 7 | DEPART

After a leisurely breakfast, check out of your hotel and either self-drive or enjoy a private transfer (less than an hour) to Cape Town airport for you onward connection.
