Five star Victoria Falls hotel

The Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, and known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya (the ‘Smoke that Thunders’) – a name that accurately depicts the plume of spray, visible from a distance, caused by the cascading waters of the Zambezi.  The area has spectacular scenery from the falls themselves to the broad, picturesque course of the Zambezi River upstream. The principal town of Livingstone has a friendly local population, markets and museums.

The Royal Livingstone Hotel is situated within the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River. From the forested banks of the river, directly in front of the hotel, you can admire the fine spray of the Victoria Falls throwing rainbows hundreds of feet in the air.  Named after the intrepid...

An absolutely fantastic travel company - every one of the many trips they have organised for us over 22 years have been faultless and fabulous.

Thank you for putting together the ancestral adventure of a lifetime. I cannot speak highly enough of the trip. The transfers went smoothly, the accommodation was excellent, the drivers were amazing as they manoeuvred through the traffic and every tour guide had a great deal of knowledge and information. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The contrast of poverty and riches of the country was striking, from the beggars in the street and struggles of the poor to the spectacular, impressive sights of the forts and monuments. There were so many highlights. A moment in time that will never happen again.
