How to Book - The Classic Safari Company

You’ve chatted to a consultant, designed the perfect holiday, and now you’re ready to take the plunge and book. Please follow these steps to secure your next great adventure.

STEP 1: FILL IN THE BOOKING FORM

Be sure to read and understand our TERMS AND CONDITIONS before submitting your booking form, along with our Quoting, Pricing, Invoicing & Foreign Currency policy.

STEP 2: ARRANGE PAYMENT OF THE DEPOSIT

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your arrangements, along with the cost of any instant purchase flights. Please refer to the invoice, sent to you by your Travel Designer, detailing this figure.

Please always quote your file number and surname as a payment reference. You can find your file number on your invoice & your consultant will provide you with this as a reference as well.

CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD: If you wish to make payment by credit or debit card you can do so using our secure online system: MAKE AN ONLINE PAYMENT .
Please note that a credit card merchant fee of 1.5% applies for payments by Visa, 1.8% for Mastercard and 2.8% for American Express.

STEP 3: SEND US A COPY OF YOUR PASSPORT

We need this to identify you and submission is a MANDATORY requirement for us to proceed with booking your travel arrangements. Please provide us with a CLEAR COLOUR copy of the ID PAGE of your passport, or your Drivers License (if booking domestic travel arrangements). Please snap a (clear!) picture with your smartphone and email it to us, or scan and send it to your travel designer, and/or email bookings@classicsafaricompany.com.au. If you are needing to obtain a new passport between now and your time of travel, please advise us of the reasons why a new passport is required – be it a name change, close to expiration, etc.

STEP 4: ORGANISE TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel Insurance is highly recommended and may, in some instances, be a mandatory requirement. It is advisable to purchase travel insurance at the time of paying your deposit.

Should you have an existing policy in place, or should you wish to make your own arrangements, please advise us of this when filling in the Booking Form.

We currently offer Cover-More Travel Insurance and nib as each insurer has varying strengths depending on the activities included in the trip you are undertaking. It is important you read and understand the policy wording and Product Disclosure Statement in order to make the right decision for you.

STEP 5: AIR ARRANGEMENTS

When it comes to getting there and away, if you would like us to do all the work for you CLICK THIS LINK to review the information we need. If you book your own air arrangements be sure to provide us with a copy of your ticket so that we can ensure that all land arrangements, and specifically arrival and departure transfers, are booked accordingly.

STEP 6: DIARISE THESE DATES

Your final balance will be required 75 days prior to travel. Once paid, your travel documents will be issued 21 days prior to your departure and the countdown begins!
